What if I need to speak to my advisor right away, but I miss his office hours?
I check e-mail several times every day, whether I am on campus or not (except if I am out of state at a meeting). If you send your question or request an appointment by e-mail, you can usually expect a response by the following morning (Monday through Friday). Also, if you stop in Room 124 Life Science or call 372-9411, you can often contact one of my Undergraduate Assistants who can take a message or give you details about my schedule and when you might be able to catch me.
