How often should I see my advisor?
This varies from one person to another, depending on your needs. But, at the minimum, you should at least contact me by e-mail or phone once per semester, if only to touch base or ask a question or two about scheduling. Whether your question is about a course, your scheduling, your program, your career, or personal concerns about college, I am always here to help you. One of the biggest mistakes undergraduates make is to wait too long to see an advisor and end up taking an extra semester of classes or taking classes that were not necessary because they have not asked an advisor first.
